Limerick Growing Communities Event at our Allotments in May
We had a very busy morning, 21st May 2024, as we took part in the ‘Limerick Growing Communities’. We were the second stop on their trip around different parts of Limerick.
Our allotments in Ballynanty are nestled in the shadows of Thomond Park. Community Gardening serves a wide range of functions from the basic production of food, supporting physical and mental wellbeing, creating additional amenity spaces, opportunities for community and social interaction, creation of wildlife habitat, supporting biodiversity and much more.
Well done to Tony & everyone who has taken part to get our allotments to a place where everyone can enjoy them in the heart of the community.
Our Allotments are available to rent for the year, €50 for one allotment bed for the year. Located in Ballynanty, Limerick. We have 21 allotments available from March to December.
